Participants are expected to learn when it is appropriate to petition the court for a guardian on behalf of their clients, resources available in the county for referrals, and the boundaries of guardianship as it relates to liberty interests and the violation of civil rights.
11:30-1:30 (registration starts at 11). Lunch will be provided.
2 CLE credits – 1 ethics and 1 substantive $50 registration fee
Presenters are in process but are expected to include The Honorable KathrynAnne Durham, Shannon Thomas – Treatment Court coordinator from Department of Human Services, and Leslie Oaks – General Counsel for DHS.
